Hey There! I’m Linnea (Li-nay-uh)

My name comes from Sweden and means a wildflower—which feels fitting, because I’ve always been drawn to light and the small moments that tell a bigger story and being a little bit wild and free. I’m a small-town photographer located in the heart of Wapakoneta, Ohio with dreams of traveling someday! I am a HUGE iced coffee lover- any season- any time, all day every day! I like all kinds of styles from neutral aesthetic, t-shirt and sweats, to vest with jeans and turquoise jewelry and opals. I LOVE rose gold. Sunflowers are my favorite flower. I love to read, even write sometimes- and I LOVE music. I taught myself to play by piano when I was 8 years old, and my daughter luckily has followed in those footsteps. I grew up singing in church- and I still love to sing, however, very rusty haha.

THE IMPORTANT STUFF- I am a wife of nearly 12 years to my soulmate, and a mama to two beautiful girls, and a believer in Jesus! Huge fan of animals, and am animal mama to a small homestead farm. If my husband would let me have a horse, i'd have one or 10. I LOVE my dogs. I have a cattle dog and a plott hound, and they are my BABIES. Photography has been part of my life since I was gifted my first camera from my mama when I graduated high school. I have always tried to see the beauty in the most bizarre places, and i surely have seen some ugly parts of life too. In 2023, after photographing my county fair- something shifted—I realized this was something I wanted to do professionally and when I make my mind up about something, there is nothing that will stop me.

My daughter is deeply involved in the livestock community and has shown pigs for several years, which has inspired me to remain committed to giving back to the community in meaningful ways as my business grows as well as supporting other small businesses including other photographers, whatever that means- I will help in any way I can!

I have worked in healthcare for over 13 years and still serve my community at a local hospital. Caring for others has taught me the value of time, the fragility of life, and the beauty in everyday moments—all of which inspires my work behind the camera.

I’ve always loved travel, been very fond of animals, and seeing the world in a different light.

But photography didn’t truly become meaningful to me until I understood how fragile time really is. Within just five years- starting at a young age, I lost several people I loved deeply, including one of my best friends and roommate in college. I quickly figured out how moments pass—how fast our children grow, and how time quietly steals the faces and voices we hold dear, sometimes without any warning. Photos became more than images; they became anchors to the moments i never want to forget. There was a season in my life that grew very dark. That’s where chasing the light became more than a phrase—it became a promise to myself. To always seek beauty. To always choose hope. To always look to God and to never let myself fall back into the darkness.

This is why I do what I do: to chase the light, honor love, give back to my community, and hold onto the moments that matter - because the real true answer is, we never know when our time is going to run out. If you choose me to be your photographer, just know- I don't take this job lightly and I know exactly how important the photo is. If you see my carrying around an old dirty coach keychain on my keys- just know something very important to me is on the inside, and no matter how yucky looking it gets- I am never getting rid of it.
